The main (and to my knowledge, only as [ ...More ] of now) vet there, David W. Saylor (stocky white male with glasses, approximately 70 years old), is by far the worst vet I've ever been to. He was extremely rough with the treatment of my dog, along with being very rude and obnoxious. He showed no sensitivity toward me or the condition of my dog whatsoever. At times he was downright belligerent; he snapped at me for asking simple questions (he was literally yelling at me at one point). He attempted to bully me into putting my dog under anesthesia to have her teeth cleaned, despite the fact that she was 15+ years old and in less than stellar health. He also charged me for several services without prompting me. He was an absolute nightmare to deal with.
I have learned from other vets in the area that this vet has an EXTREMELY negative reputation, and has caused several disgruntled customers to look elsewhere for the treatment of their pets. The parking lot of the clinic is usually empty these days, which should be a pretty good sign of how customers and their pets are treated there. If you value your pet's health and safety, DO NOT visit this vet. He is completely and totally incompetent. [ ...Less ]

 Yes I know not to expect much but after traveling around I have had to eat at a few Applebees in the southeast. Ours is the worst when it comes to food and service.
Mojitos please

Ogres love to drink and are picky about what we order. That is why I have foungd the [ ...More ] best place in town to order my Mojito is at Abuelos. They do not use some mix but add all the ingredients fresh. The only other place I had a Mojito that good was on South beach.
Also the food is the great. Your taste buds will get thier moneys worth. [ ...Less ]
Winners Circle Loses!
This was my first experience going to Winners Circle. My friends said the old [ ...More ] location was wonderful, and we wanted yummy wings and cold beer. Once we got to the downtown location, however, it took forever for us to be waited on! And it wasn't even busy! We started off with water, a lovely tap flavor, in disposable plasic cups. We had to basically beg for menus, and when we received them, they were print outs, folded in half, with nothing printed in the middle! I can understand the pains and difficulties that come with transitioning from one location to another, but this was ridiculous.
We paid for the one beer my colleague had and got outta dogde. To cap off the experience, he told the one waitress we had waited for a long time and were going down the street to the Bedrock Cafe...to which she responded, with kind sincerity, "that would probably be better." BARTOW, Florida (AP) — Two men have been sentenced to life in prison for the slaying of 17-year-old central Florida girl. A Polk County judge sentenced 33-year-old Gary Michael Glisson Jr. and 23-year-old Eric Rodriguez on Wednesday.
